FIFA Inspired Poem! (In The Eyes Of The Player)

I hear the crowd roaring as one,
I feel the tension and vibes.
I smell sweat rolling down as I run,
I see my coach scream with might.

Everyone knows how to play the game,
Just get the ball in the net.
But most players seek fame,
So they try to score them selves.

I've got team mates that fake injuries,
And some that fight with the ref.
I've got team mates that get penalties,
But most wouldn't care less!

The amount of pressure put on us is unimaginable,
The feeling of being watched is nerve racking.
Players "accidentally" injuring us is unbearable,
Time ticking away is ground shattering.

But once the blow of a whistle is heard,
And the ref.s arm is raised.
There is nothing else running in your head,
But to find a way to celebrate.
